Gully Gangs: Street Cricket kicks off Android Open Beta, offering a unique 4v4 street multiplayer gameplay

Street cricket vibes!

Story Highlights
  • Gully Gangs: Street Cricket brings 4v4 street cricket game experience, now live in open beta on Android.
  • Features include dynamic gully arenas, power moves, voice chat, and cheating mechanics.
  • Full launch coming soon to iOS and Steam with cross-platform play.

5th Ocean Studios, a Hyderabad-based indie studio, has officially launched the open beta for Gully Gangs: Street Cricket, claimed to be the world’s first-ever 4v4 street cricket game. Now available on Android, the game brings the fun of real Indian gully cricket with added features.

With 1v1 and 4v4 modes, enjoy full customization freedom along with street-style cricket

What makes this special is multiplayer, so you can play with each other as a team of four. The gameplay snippets shared show that it is set in lively street arenas filled with parked scooters, rooftops, and even nosy uncles becoming part of the play.

This game feels like an old-school arcade game, although the graphics aren’t quite the matching par. You get cool-looking crews, big power moves, voice chat while playing, and even some fun ways to “cheat” that make the game more exciting.

Don’t be taken aback by the 4v4 mention, there are 1v1 cricket battles as well. Pretty interesting that there are Skins and Player customisation options, so you can unlock cool skins, outfits, and accessories to make your character look awesome.

Right now, only Android users can try Gully Gangs: Street Cricket in open beta, which you can access via the Google Play Store. But don’t worry, it’s also coming to iOS and PC via Steam platforms soon.

Although the date or release schedule isn’t announced, upon the full launch, the game will support controllers and let players on different platforms play together.
