Halfbrick and PM Studios have announced that their new story-driven adventure title, Bluey’s Quest for the Gold Pen, is set to launch on iOS and Mac on December 11, 2025, followed by Android on January 10, 2026, and then on PC and consoles. From BBC Studios and Halfbrick Studios, known for the Jetpack Joyride series, it offers a new story from the show’s creator, Joe Brumm.
Step into Bluey’s imaginative adventure and enjoy a new story
Thanks to the world-first collaboration with the original Bluey creator, Joe Brumm, we’ll soon get to experience the world of Bluey in a way never before. This new story-driven adventure lets you join Bluey on a captivating quest across adorable hand-drawn lands to retrieve the legendary Gold Pen.
The story begins when Bluey’s Dad suddenly snatches the Gold Pen she needs for drawing. Now, it’s transported into her hand-drawn imagination. Now Mum builds the lands, Dad becomes a self-proclaimed King Goldie Horns, while Bingo turns into her honk-happy alter ego, embarking on a quest to retrieve it.
Players can explore vibrant levels and solve puzzles
Here, you’ll get to explore imaginative worlds, solve fun puzzles, and enjoy an original storyline created by Joe Brumm himself. Even though I feel like I’m past the target age group, there’s something very charming about it, and I can’t wait to glide, fly, and skate through its vibrant challenges and quests.
Gameplay-wise, you can look forward to nine vibrant levels, from snowy mountains to lush green forests, all inspired by the Australian outback. And with its solid mix of puzzles, treasures, adorable art style, and more, the game looks very enjoyable, especially for fans of the series.
