American-based Indie games developer tinyBuild has announced that its first-person adventure title Hello Neighbor Nicky’s Diaries will get a global release on mobile on the 6th of December, 2023. The official announcement came with a launch trailer where the title showcased its gameplay and in-game mechanics. Hello Neighbor Nicky’s Diaries is an original spin-off to the developer’s first title Hello Neighbor which was released back in 2018 for mobile devices. tinyBuild released several titles including sequels, prequels, and spin-offs of the series but only one single title has made it to the mobile adaptation so far. The upcoming one will be another addition to the list.

The launch trailer showcased the tale of Nicky where he found a box from his young days. Inside, he found a photo of his best friend Aaron and decided to follow the mysterious case relating to his disappearance in the neighbor’s house. The adventure starts here as the only way to find the truth is by exploring a suburban neighborhood like no other.
For those who know the story of this series, the title will take you again through the mysterious character Mr. Peterson and his terrible secret. There are rumors that he’s a ruthless killer and following the disappearance of Aaron, you’ll investigate to uncover the dark secrets that the neighbor’s house is hiding. The game lets you explore a playful blend of stealth, puzzles, and brain-bending challenges. And, everything will happen in your whimsical Neighborhood.
Unlock the secrets of Nicky’s past by solving a multitude of puzzles, side missions, etc.
The game will offer a multitude of puzzles, side missions, and a lot of challenging missions to complete. “To unlock the secrets of Nicky’s past, you’ll need to solve intricate puzzles and cleverly utilize objects hidden throughout the environment. Sneak around the CCTV cameras, disable the motion detectors around the doors, and make use of all you can find! It’s YOU who determines the HOW,” the game reads.
Hello Neighbor Nicky’s Diaries also offers a set of cool gadgets and techs to aid you while exploring the creepy house. Equipment such as JUMP BOOTS, X-RAY GLASSES, EMP devices, and even GLUE will come in handy while solving the mystery and running from the ruthless killer.
The game also offers some side missions which will help you to know the story closely. Each mission comes with a 3-star challenge where reaching the top level will award a 3-star rating to obtain all the rewards. Besides, there will be daily login bonuses to achieve more types of equipment. For now, the game is available to pre-register on both the Google Play Store and Apple App Store before its global release on the 6th of December.
