Square Enix had announced the sequel to Hitman Sniper, Hitman Sniper Assassins, in their Spring 2021 event and now, early access has been launched in the selected regions! Although there are no confirmations on the regions but according to the Reddit user, u/qctireuralex, the early access has been started in Canada on Android devices.
Hitman Sniper Assassins early access looks good so far
The loading screen shows a well dressed man and a faint snowy tundra in the background. This scenery is important later while it certainly does look like the man is set up to be a villain.
The second image which shows off the menu reveals a little more. Again observe the snowy tundra in the background and in the images. On the top left there seems to be a progress bar counting up to a briefcase (probably a reward) and there seems to be a shop along with what looks like either a rankings display or a place for adding your friends like in the last game
On the top right slide, there’s a settings option, a Discord icon (probably links you to an official discord), and in-game currency of two different kinds.
The last image shows some gameplay, again in a cold, snowy environment. Now, this seems to suggest that the game might center around this cold region, and like the last one, there’s only one location. But the last game did get some flak for not having multiple maps. That being said, we have Diana giving the instructions to the player. Coming to the player, the in-game character looks like Knight from Hitman 2.
