Square Enix announced Hitman Sniper Assassins for Android and iOS

A prequel to the smash hit Hitman Sniper

Great News for Hitman Snipers fans! In their Spring 2021 event, one of the games which Square Enix announced which are coming out this year is Hitman Sniper Assassins, the supposed prequel to Hitman Sniper, a game with more than 10 million downloads on the Play Store. Also, this is just a working title and the game’s name might be changed before release.

About Hitman Sniper Assassins

The game is being worked on by Square Enix Montreal the same studio behind Lara Croft Go, Hitman Go, and Deus Ex Go, and features agent 426 instead of our regular protagonist, Agent 47. So far, it looks quite similar to the Hitman Sniper game where you have a target and you have to stealthily eliminate it “at your own discretion”.

A few sentences do stand out in the trailer and indicate new elements to the game. It looks like the game is going to have multiple protagonists since we are shown two different people, faces obscured by the shadows and Diana says “To succeed you will have to work together”. Before this, she also tells the new agent that they’ve got big boots to fill. It all sounds pretty intriguing and interesting and we just can’t wait to get our hands on this upcoming title.

When will Hitman Sniper Assassins release

As of now, there’s no official release date yet but the game is going to be coming out on Android and iOS this year. It’s also important to note that while Hitman Sniper was a pretty good game, players pointed towards the lack of maps in the game and this definitely seems like a place where the new game can improve and satisfy its players.

Aside from this, the trailer for Just Cause Mobile was shown and an Augmented Reality (AR) version of Space Invaders, the handheld console classic was also announced. You can be one of the few lucky gamers to grab early access sneak peek of Hitman Sniper Assassins here.
