On the 1st of October 2021, a famous Bangladeshi cricketer and one of the most “trusted” batsmen in the history of Bangladesh cricket, Mushfiqur Rahim, inaugurated a cricket game featuring him in the presence of Hon’ble State Minister for ICT Division, Mr. Zunaid Ahmed Palak. Howzaat – Mushi The Dependable, the first cricket gaming app made in Bangladesh, will release on both Android and iOS.
The game has been jointly created by KPC Enterprise and Turtle Solutions Ltd. With Mushfiqur Rahim as its ambassador, it will be out in Google Play on the 15th of October, 2021 for cricket fans around the world. The iOS version, will however arrive later this year on December 2021.
Howzaat – Mushi The Dependable: Features
With all kinds of batting strokes and bowling actions, the game presents dynamic weather, toss, review system, commentator’s description, etc. One of the most promising features is the ability to live stream from the app itself. Players can stream live on Facebook or YouTube while playing the multiplayer mode. As the game had claimed, the most interesting feature of Howzaat- Mushi The Dependable is its Legendary mode. Players will have to face a tough challenge by start playing from a place where it is quite difficult to win. More game features will be revealed upon the game’s launch.
The creators have incorporated a lot of varieties in this game than the other cricket games. Though, it goes by the name of a single player, the options to choose batting or bowling will be present. The high-definition graphics work will add the feeling of the field sitting at home. As the developers claimed, the game has “hundreds” of options and functions in it.
Mushfiqur is excited for the game
Kazi Sajedur Rahman, president of KPC Enterprise said that the game had been released in the beta and received a huge acceptance from the fans. More than 160k subscriptions were added just in 24 hours. Additionally, the game was played 5 million times a week.
Howzaat- Mushi The Dependable can be played both online and offline. There are three modes to choose from. These are, namely, the General, Multiplayer, and Legendary. There can be teams of four or eight members that can participate in friendly matches or a tournament-style play among themselves.
However, this is not the first cricket game featuring a Bangladeshi cricketer. Last April, the SAH75 Cricket Championship was released in open beta branding Shakib Al Hasan. The game was well accepted by the fans as well. With ICC Men’s T20 World Cup ahead, the game can hope for a large-scale engagement from the fans.
