Alcedo Games has announced the launch of their latest co-op bazaar adventure sim, Old Market Simulator, now available on iOS. This is a port of the beloved PC title, though no information is available yet regarding an Android release.
You can now farm, craft, and expand your business with hired help
So, Old Market Simulator is a 1-4 player co-op sim where you can build and grow your own market from scratch. The game lets you farm crops, raise animals, fish, and craft items while slowly expanding your business. I like how we can even hire employees to automate stores’ processes, though they don’t come for free.

One of my favorite parts is the variety of locations to choose from. Like, you can trade on a Tropical Island, run your business in the eastern-style East Town, or dive into Roman Town’s Adventure Mode to rebuild the town following the earthquake. So, it is surely content-rich and you won’t get bored easily.
You can manage resources, raise livestock, craft, bake, and even fish for rare catches or treasures
The gameplay loop is oddly satisfying, too, especially when you begin by buying seeds or saplings to end up running a thriving market. Plus, you can also buy and raise livestock for milk, eggs, or even meat, and bake or ferment drinks in the workshop using diverse recipes.
What I want to do most is obviously go fishing for regular and special fish and even sunken treasures, though you need to buy a boat, paddle, and fishing rod first. Overall, the game looks very fun to me, and the very positive Steam response just proves that, alongside the seasonal events like Halloween, solid visuals, and more.
Old Market Simulator is now available on iOS, and you can download the game via the App Store. While not free, you can still play the first 6 in-game days for free before deciding to commit to the full one-time purchase. Stay tuned for more updates regarding the Android release.
