In the case of the Hypercasual Games market in Q2 2023, the prevailing trend indicates a decrease in total downloads.

A 5% decrease in downloads can be observed following the first quarter

In the report shared by AppMagic, it has been noticed that the market has decreased from 3.9 billion downloads to 3.7 billion downloads over the course of the past three months which is a decline of approximately 5%. Furthermore, when comparing Q2 2023 relation to Q2 2022, a larger drop of 12% is observed.

In the same period last year, the number of downloads reached 4.2 billion. It is important to note that a consistent downward trend from Q1 to Q2 has been observed over the years, indicating a recurring pattern.

Taking a closer look at the regional breakdown, the Tier-1 East market experienced the most significant decrease, declining by 22% followed by a Tier-1 West decline of 13%. On the other hand, the smallest decline of 6% was observed in all other countries combined, aligning with the trend observed in Q1 2023.

In terms of the games ranked, Bridge Race remains at the stop steadily, whereas few of the other games have seen a decrease and increase respectively. It is closely followed by Race Master 3D, Attack Hole, and Going Balls, separated within a gap of 1 million downloads.
