- My Hero Academia UNITED SURVIVAL has been announced with a teaser and a key visuals done by Bones Film.
- Fans show mixed reactions due to lack of gameplay and recent ULTRA IMPACT shutdown news.
- The devs promise to share more details soon.
KLabGames has announced their new title, My Hero Academia UNITED SURVIVAL, set to launch soon on mobile. This will be the latest entry based on the hugely popular anime series, My Hero Academia. It is likely part of the anime’s 10th anniversary celebration, though the exact launch date is not revealed.
Get ready to experience a new MHA game featuring iconic characters
Since its reveal, My Hero Academia UNITED SURVIVAL has been creating solid buzz within the MHA community. The teaser video came with an exclusive key visual illustrated by the animation studio, Bones Film, and the art style looks so on-brand and promising.
That said, the devs are yet to reveal more details as we only saw beloved faces like Midoriya, Bakugo, and Todoraki, with no real showcase of the gameplay, genre, or core mechanics. And I get why some fans are not confident in it, especially since there are “No models or gameplay being shown.”
10th anniversary celebrations and new episode tease
Moreover, the skepticism also comes with the timing, as My Hero ULTRA IMPACT is shutting down this May. So, some fans are not happy with one stating, “took mhui away for whatever this is like what.” Still, since it’s from KLab, we can be hopeful as they do “well keeping their games alive” unlike Bandai Namco.
At the same time, the official MHA accounts also shared a new visual celebrating the anime’s 10th anniversary, which also reminds me how I’m growing older. We also got a teaser for the special episode titled More, which adapts Chapter 431 from the manga. Anyway, stay tuned for more updates for the game.
