- New official KonoSuba game announced for mobile and PC with a 2026 release window.
- Features an original story supervised by creator Natsume Akatsuki and Kurone Mishima.
- Announcement was made during the anime's 10th anniversary livestream event.
The Konosuba franchise is getting a new game. Titled KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on this Wonderful World! Prosperity for this Beloved City! A name as long as its ambitions, was revealed during the 10th anniversary livestream, and is set for a Mobile and PC launch in Japan this 2026.
KonoSuba: Prosperity for this Beloved City will see an original story penned by the original creators
The game will feature an original story supervised by series creator Natsume Akatsuki, with production cooperation from original illustrator Kurone Mishima. Alongside the announcement, a teaser website was launched, and both Akatsuki and Mishima shared messages celebrating the new project.
For those new to the franchise, KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World!, or in short, KonoSuba is a hugely popular Japanese light novel series written by Natsume Akatsuki and illustrated by Kurone Mishima. The story follows Kazuma Satou, a boy transported to a fantasy world filled with RPG-style mechanics.
The franchise has also seen a few games, including one on mobile with Konosuba Fantastic Days. Released back in 2020, the game was in service for around five years before its eventual shut down on January 30, 2025. Five offline apps are planned post shutdown.

The exact genre of the new game has not been revealed yet, but based on the series’ identity and also that it is the 10th anniversary, it could be an RPG, a story-based VN, or a simulation experience, since the title hints at a “city building” theme.
I might be wrong, so we will wait for official confirmation. No details about the launch date or roadmap for release are shared yet, but KonoSuba: Prosperity for this Beloved City is set for a Japan release as of now.
More information is expected in the coming months, including whether the game will receive a global launch, fans should keep a close eye on the official website for updates.
