- Light and Night is an otome dating sim with a surprisingly dark story, despite its charming male leads.
- The game’s English pages on X and Facebook are now live with a Coming Soon bio and an English cover featuring the main leads.
Tencent Games might be preparing to launch their otome dating sim, Light and Night, on Android and iOS globally, as fans have recently discovered official social media accounts for the game on Facebook and X (formerly Twitter). This has generated quite the hype among global fans.
UPDATE as of November 19, 2025
The Light and Night global accounts turned out to be fan made by an English fan, so there is still no confirmation of a global launch. Additionally, the X (formerly Twitter) page has already been removed, while the Facebook page is still up but all contents are deleted.
Social media accounts suggest the beloved otome title could be heading for a global launch
It seems otome fans might soon be getting the global version of Light and Night, as the game’s social media accounts have been created on X (formerly known as Twitter) and Facebook, with a simple “Coming Soon“ in bio. For a title with such a strong fanbase, even this small hint made everyone excited.
Now, for those unaware, Light and Dark is an otome dating sim set in Hwimyeong City, a place teeming with secrets beneath its stunning exterior. Here, you play as a young designer chasing her dreams, only to be pulled into a fateful encounter with the game’s male characters.
Moreover, Light and Night is also considered one of the Big 6 Chinese otome titles alongside hits like Love and Deepspace and Tears of Themis, so a global release can be possible, with all the others released except Beyond the World.
Players can expect a rich romance experience, though the global launch remains uncertain
