Blueprint Inc. has announced the shutdown of its beloved romance RPG, Lost Crusade 2, scheduled for January 29, 2026. Originally released as Lost Crusade, the game was renamed in 2018 following a major revamp. And after nearly 12 years of service, it’s bidding its farewell.
Devs shared an in-game EOS notice without explaining the reasons behind it
So, Lost Crusade 2 is a romance RPG that was released way back in 2014. Lore-wise, the Moon Goddesses have invaded Earth, already devastating Tokyo, and only you’ve the power of crusade to stop them. As you progress, you can enjoy romance with friendly goddesses and prepare for the holy war.
Unfortunately, the Lost Crusade 2 has sent in-game notice that the game would shutdown on January 29, 2026, stating “Although there is only a short period until the service ends, we hope you continue to enjoy Lost Crusade 2.” They’ve not revealed the exact reason behind the closure after all these years of service.
You can use any remaining Diamonds until the game ends
Following the in-game notice, they have disabled in-app purchases like diamonds, but luckily the game is not removed from the app stores. So, you can play the game and use any remaining Diamonds you currently own until the EOS date. I know the time is short, but I suggest you make the most of it.
Now, I have another bad news for all the fans, as you won’t get any refunds or offline version of the game. Still, it doesn’t feel that bad considering it managed to service for so long, unlike newer titles like One Punch Man: World, PANDOLAND, King Arthur: Legends Rise, that are ending within a year or two.
