Imagineer Co. Ltd. has announced its new survivor action title, Medabots Survivors, now open for pre-registration on both Android and iOS. The latest title in the classic Medabots series, the game initially released in Japan in February, with the global launch now expected on February 28, 2026.
Build your own powerful Medabots team to face off against the hordes of enemies
Although Japanese fans got it first, we’ll soon get to dive into Medabots Survivors, the newest survivor entry. To give you some context, Medabots is a JRPG series by Rin Horuma, which focuses on collecting and battling with these robots; however, it didn’t quite capture the Western market as it did in Japan.
When to comes to gameplay, you can recruit unique Medabots with their own skills and create a solid team to fight off waves of enemies. And, the fact that we’re getting 60+ playable Medabots at launch, including new ones like the Shadow Armor, Elephas Soma, and more, already makes it feel exciting, at least to me.
And, we can expect a good time blasting these enemies with missiles, placing traps to cut off nearby ones, and simply trying to survive the chaotic battlefield with simple controls and decent visuals. Personally, I love checking out Japanese IPs, even old ones, and I’ll be waiting for this one too.
Medabots Survivors is now open for pre-registration on both Android and iOS. You can now pre-register for the game via your respective Google Play Store or App Store. According to the App Store’s listing, we can expect the game to release on February 28, 2026.
