- Brawl Mode revamp introduces a richer Brawl hero pool with 10 unowned heroes.
- By performing well, you'll get temporary Ranked access to heroes during this early access.
- New hero labels in hero selection shows if a hero is already unlocked for Ranked, or just trial exclusive to Brawl.
Mobile Legends: Bang Bang has finally decided to revamp one of its most popular game modes, the Brawl Mode, aiming to introduce a richer hero pool, new labels in hero selection, and more. Select players got the early access, and without further ado, let’s dive into details and see what changes are coming!
Brawl mode will be now more welcoming to newer players
So, MLBB has rolled out early access for its Brawl Mode Optimization, and I was one of the lucky few to get the early access for this. Besides Ranked and previously Magic Chess mode, Brawl is one of my most played modes, and I honestly think a refreshment was long overdue for it.

Talking about changes, the biggest one is the richer Brawl hero pool, which I think will help newer players a lot. The system now randomly adds 10 heroes that you don’t own into your Brawl hero pool. While this doesn’t directly benefit veteran players like me, it will surely elevate the experience for new ones.
You’ll gain 1 day access to unowned heroes in Ranked if you play well in Brawl
Overall, this revamp clearly seems to favor newbies than veterans, and I’m not complaining. The new labels in hero selection screen now shows whether you’ve already unlocked a hero for Ranked or its only available as a free trial in Brawl. I’m not sure how this one will help players, but I guess it will reduce confusion.
But, what I did like one of the updates. Like, if you really play well with a hero in Brawl, you now get 24-hour access to that hero even if you don’t own it or have unlocked it for Ranked. I think this will be far more helpful and also a great incentive to attract more players to play the mode.
