Mobile Legends Patch 1.8.32 Update: Hero Changes, Battlefield Adjustments and more

New changes in the Advanced Server!

The developers at MOONTON Games are regulating the gameplay of the heroes against the force of the Gold and the EXP Lane, and giving players a choice to fight the Turtle or not. Let us break down more on this Patch 1.8.32 Update in the Mobile Legends Advanced Server.

Mobile Legends Patch 1.8.32 Update: Hero Adjustments

Revamped Aurora (Buffed)

Aurora’s damage pacing is somewhat slow, so developers are aiming to quicken her burst potential.

Passive (↑)

Cooldown: 180s >> 150s

Skill 1 (~)

Skill Revamp: Aurora fires an icy meteorite at the target location, dealing Magic Damage and reducing the target’s Movement Speed. The meteorite then explodes 5 times, dealing Magic Damage each time.

Alice (Buffed)

Experimental Changes: The blood orb mechanic is fun, but it forces the Alice player to play multiple lanes to maximize their gains. Devs are trying to change the Passive mechanic and adjust the pacing of her active skills. Her Skill 2 can now be used more frequently, while her Ultimate grants more survivability and enhances the burst of her Skill 2, enabling Alice to farm faster.

Attributes (↑)

Max Mana Growth per Level: 0 >> 100

Passive (~)

Revamped Effect: Restore 1.5% Max Mana every second (doubled while fighting enemy heroes). Gain 3 Movement Speed and 1% Healing Received per level.

Skill 1 (↓)

Cooldown: 5s >> 8s

Skill 2 (↑)

  • Cooldown: 7s >> 6s
  • Immobilizing Time: 1.2s >> 0.5s
  • Mana Cost: 50-75 >> 100
  • Damage: 270-395 + 90% Magic Power >> (200-400) + 75% Magic Power + ((5-15%) + 0.3% Max Mana)% Enemy’s Max HP

Ultimate (↑)

  • New Effect: Reduce the cooldown of Skills 1 & 2 by 0.2s and 0.5s respectively upon hitting 1 enemy hero
  • Base Damage: 90 >> 60-100 (no longer scales with Mana growth)
  • Mana Cost: 50-160 >> 40-120

Barats (Buffed)

  • Experimental Changes: Most Barats players struggle to maintain their Passive, slow skills, and enemies can easily break out of their Ultimate. Devs want to address these issues by increasing the utility of his Ultimate, making him a great initiator in teamfights.
  • HP Regen Bonus from Magic Power: 10% >> 30%

Passive (↑)

  • Stacks: Each enemy hit >> Each time a skill hits a target (hitting multiple targets still only grants 1 stack).
  • Max Stacks: 25 >> 10
  • Number of Stacks Required for Enhanced Basic Attack: 15 >> 10
  • New Effect: Enhanced Basic Attack also helps maintain the Passive effect.

Skill 1 (~)

  • It no longer slows enemies hit.
  • Second Stage Damage Interval: 1s >> 0.5s

Skill 2 (↑)

  • New Effect: The first missile launched also deals damage and slows enemies by 40% for 1s.
  • Revamped Effect: The missile is now guaranteed to pull enemies toward Barats.
  • Stun Duration: 0.5s >> 0.8s

Ultimate (↑)

Revamped Effect: Pressing the Ultimate button charges up the skill, during which Barats is immune to CC. When released, Barats sprints in the target direction, devouring the first enemy hit. (The distance of the sprint increases with the charge time; canceling the cast refunds 60% cooldown time.)

Kimmy (Buffed)

Devs don’t want Kimmy to focus too much on energy management, so they have extended her damage window in the mid and late-game. Devs are also slightly lowering her damage scaling.

Meanwhile, they want to boost her Crit Chance to reduce the extent at which Radiant Armor counters her.

Passive (↑)

  • Basic Attack Damage: 22% Total Physical Attack + 24% Total Magic Power, 1% per level >> 20% Total Physical Attack + 15% Total Magic Power at all levels
  • Attack Effect: 22% >> 20%

Skill 1 (↑)

  • Damage: 20 + 22%-27% Total Physical Attack + 24%-29% Total Magic Power >> 30 + 20% Total Physical Attack at all levels + 20% Total Magic Power
  • Energy Cost: 5 at all levels >> 5-3
  • New Effect: Levelling up the skill grants Kimmy 5%-20% extra Crit Chance.

Ultimate (↓)

  • Removed Effect: Energy Regen.
  • Slightly reduced backswing time.

Cici (Nerfed)

She slightly reduced her attack range to make it shorter than that of Marksman heroes.

Skill 1 (↓)

Attack Range: 4.2 >> 3.5

Skill 2 (↑)

  • Improved the control experience of Cici’s jumps.
  • New Effect: Hitting an ally now allows her to jump twice as well.
  • Casting Range: 4.2 >> 4

Ultimate (↓)

  • Casting Range: 5 >> 4.5
  • Duration: 3s >> 4S
  • Slow Effect: 40% >> 20%
  • New Effect: The effect can now be removed by Purify.

Selena (Buffed)

Devs have decided to stop adjusting Selena’s marks and only keep some of the simple gameplay optimizations for future testing. The following are the adjustments made based on the Official Server version.

Skill 1 (Elven) (~)

  • New Effect: Marks can now be applied to Minions.
  • Damage adjustments to non-hero units are the same as to heroes.
  • Slightly increased the radius of the Explosion.
  • Fixed an issue where the slow effect of the first stage doesn’t match the skill description.

Skill 1 (Abyssal) (↑)

  • New Effect: Hitting a marked enemy now refreshes the cooldown of her Skill 2 (Abyssal).
  • Devs have removed the Mana cost.

Skill 2 (Abyssal) (↑)

Devs have removed the Mana cost.

Ultimate (~)

Cooldown: 5.5-4s (unaffected by CD Reduction) >> 4s (affected by CD Reduction)

Balmond (Buffed)

The following are the adjustments made based on the Official Server version.

Skill 2 (↑)

  • New Effect: Cyclone Sweep can no longer be interrupted by CC (Balmond can be knocked airborne during Cyclone Sweep before).
  • New Effect: Gains 15% Movement Speed Bonus during skill cast, which decays over time.
  • Base Damage: 50-200 + 50% Total Physical Attack >> 25-100 + 25% Total Physical Attack, double the Attack Speed (Total Damage remains unchanged).

Skill 3 (↑)

  • Increased skill range and optimized visual effects.
  • New Effect: The skill cannot be interrupted by CC.
  • Cooldown: 28-18s >> 34-24s

Vale (Buffed)

Vale’s skill effects have been fully upgraded! The overall effects are more in line with the current gameplay.

Skill 2

Remaining whirlwind duration: 2s >> 1.6s (total damage remains unchanged)

Skill 3 (↑)

  • New Effect: While the Windstorm lasts, it will continue to deal small amounts of damage to enemies in range.
  • Windstorm Duration: 2s >> 1.6s

Dyrroth (Buffed)

The following are the adjustments made based on the Official Server version.

Passive (↑)

  • Removed Effect: Dyrroth enhances his skills when his Rage reaches 50%.
  • New Effect: After every 2 Basic Attacks or skill casts, his next Basic Attack is guaranteed to be a Circle Strike.

Skill 1 (↑)

  • Cooldown: 5s >> 8-6s
  • Slow Effect: 25% >> 50%
  • Duration: 1.5s >> 1s

Skill 2 (~)

  • Target’s Defense Reduction: 50% >> 30-80%
  • Slow Effect: 90% >> 50%
  • Slow Duration: 0.5s >> 2s

Ultimate (↑)

  • New Effect: The Ultimate cannot be interrupted.
  • Removed Effect: 55% Slow Effect for 0.5s

Mobile Legends Patch 1.8.32 Update: Battlefield Adjustments

Battlefield Optimizations

Turtles

  • Turtles will make a more shocking entrance and exit!
  • New Effect: 10s prior to/after the Turtles spawn or exit, the River generates a strong current flowing toward/away from them. Follow the flow to gain 30% extra Movement Speed.

Scavenger Crabs

  • Easier to kill and more rewarding!
  • Crabs now have much lower HP, and Little Crabs no longer spawn in the first 2 minutes. (Scavenger Crabs continue to spawn instead)
  • Revamped Effect: Gain extra Gold from kills >> Half Gold granted upon kills, the other drops to the ground and has to be picked up

Other

  • Devs have optimized the experience when quickly tapping multiple hero skills at once.
  • Due to this round of hero adjustments, we’ll be temporarily taking down all the skins of Balmond and Vale.
