MONOPOLY GO! Chat, a new companion app for the hit title begins regional testing in France ahead of early 2026 launch

Chat and connect!

Story Highlights
  • MONOPOLY GO! Chat launches testing phase exclusively in France.
  • With this seperate app, players can chat, plan events, and trade stickers easily.
  • Although no release date has been confirmed, the release is planned for early-2026.

Scopely has announced MONOPOLY GO! Chat, a brand-new companion app designed to bring the MONOPOLY GO! community even closer together. The app is now in regional testing in France, with a global launch planned for early 2026.

MONOPOLY GO! Chat brings a new space for communication

So, to clear all the confusion, this app serves as the official social hub where players can chat, coordinate, and plan with friends, family, and teammates. Instead of relying on limited preset messages, you can now discuss strategies in detail or share quick updates during time-limited events.

You can chat one-on-one or in groups, too. What makes this feature helpful is that players can now coordinate sticker trades more easily to complete albums faster. The app also sends notifications when teammates need help, allowing everyone to respond quickly.

The app connects directly with MONOPOLY GO!, but since it’s released as a separate app rather than being built into the main game, some players might find it inconvenient. However, from the developer’s point of view, keeping chat and gameplay separate makes sense as it allows smoother operation between the two.

The MONOPOLY GO! Chat app is currently available only in France for testing. If you want to test it out, you can get it on both Android and iOS via the Google Play Store and App Store. But make sure you have installed MONOPOLY GO! before you do. Players outside the region will have to wait for its worldwide release in early 2026, but this new addition already looks like a promising way to bring the community closer.
