- Monster Walk lets you walk in real life to collect creatures, rebuild worlds, unlock new regions, and battle in real-time.
- The game offers quirky monsters, base building, bullet-hell combat, a relaxed, GPS-free, competition-free experience, and more.
- This title continues the studio’s momentum following the success of Run Legends.
Talofa Games, the award-winning studio behind Run Legends, has announced that its fitness-based RPG, Monster Walk: Step Adventure, is set to launch on both Android and iOS on October 9 in the US and European regions. The game was previously launched in early access in select regions this July.
Build your own monster team and base through your daily steps
If you enjoy outdoor adventures, collecting monsters, or just staying active, Monster Walk: Step Adventure is shaping up to be a perfect fit. Here, you can explore mysterious lands and face exciting battles all at your own pace, which makes each walk feel more rewarding.
To clear your confusion, this isn’t your usual fitness app, as it focuses on a game-first experience, letting your real-world steps fuel your exploration, gather resources, and bond with these captivating monsters. I personally love how every small step brings new hidden treasures, while helping you grow your team.
Players can rebuild a broken world, unlock new regions, and more
While it has vibes of Pokémon and mindfulness, it’s not the same as Pokémon GO since it doesn’t track your location, and there’s no competition involved. That said, you still get plenty of action via fast-paced, real-time battles, countering enemies, and unlocking skills, which your daily steps power.
Overall, the game looks very promising, considering its early access already saw over 200 million steps taken, and with RPG elements, base-building, new regions, monsters, vibrant visuals, and more. It’s not hard to be intrigued by this one, but I hope this motivates me to actually pursue a healthy lifestyle.
Monster Walk: Step Adventure is set to launch in the United States and European regions on both Android and iOS on October 9. You can now pre-register for the game via the Google Play Store or App Store.
