ZiMAD has announced an exciting collaboration between their puzzle title, Magic Jigsaw Puzzles, and ZeptoLab‘s hit game Cut the Rope, bringing beloved character Om Nom. This crossover, dubbed Nomstalgia, is now live until the end of 2025, bringing limited-time puzzle packs for fans.

Relive early 2010s mobile gaming nostalgia with limited-time puzzle packs

Fans of both titles are in for a treat as this crossover highlights the cultural wave of early 2010s mobile gaming. You can enjoy limited-time puzzle packs in Magic Jigsaw Puzzles, which blends nostalgia with cozy, new gameplay until the end of this year. This feels like a celebration of the golden app store days.

For those who never played Cut the Rope, it is a physics-based puzzle franchise from ZeptoLabs that first launched in 2010. The game quickly gained popularity with its fun gameplay where you’ve to feed candy to a little green creature named Om Nom while collecting stars along the way.

Players can now dive into Om Nom Adventures and Happy B-Day, Om Nom packs

The first two themed collections, Om Nom Adventures and Happy B-Day, Om Nom, are already out in Magic Jigsaw Puzzles. I used to play a lot of Cut the Rope back then on my brother’s phone, and seeing this crossover makes me want to give it a go again. I guess they’re successful with the goal of re-engaging longtime fans.

The best part is that these two packs are just the start, as you can look forward to additional packs planned for fall and winter. Elizaveta Savenkova, CBDO at ZiMAD, said, “Through the creative concept of Nomstalgia, every puzzle becomes a sweet fragment of memory, bringing back the joy and cultural touchstones of the early 2010s.
