- Nightgate is a casual action adventure game that first launched on iOS in 2016, set in the distant future of 2398.
- The game offers immersive digital environments, 40+ minutes of original soundtrack, a clean minimalist style, achievements, an in-game camera, and more.
Semidome Inc. has announced the launch of the trial edition, Nightgate: Try Edition, of the classic sci-fi casual adventure title, Nightgate, on iOS. This version of the indie title lets you try the first 15 levels for free, with a simple one-time purchase.
Immerse yourself in a minimalist yet fun adventure in a futuristic world
Nightgate is a casual action-adventure title that was originally released on iOS back in 2016. The story is set in the year 2398, where Nightgate, a network of intelligent computers, becomes the last living force on Earth. Here, you step inside this living world and move through 50 handcrafted stages.
As you explore this dark digital world, you need to avoid enemies and push deeper into its shifting landscapes. I’ve not played it before, but the movement-based challenges and clean visuals look fun. I mean, dodging bullets, evading threats, and then finding hidden achievements will be fun for sure.
Players can enjoy an uninterrupted experience and capture photos
I also liked the overall sci-fi interfaces and HUDs offering a living digital architecture, with dynamic structures that build as you move. And what’s even better is that there are no two levels in these unique levels. Oh, and we can even use the in-game camera to capture the beauty of the digital realm.
Overall, the game is worth trying if you like minimalist designs with vibrant colors and complex geometries. And the most attractive part is obviously the 40 minutes of original soundtrack, which everyone loves, in addition to no ads or in-app purchases. I don’t know if I’ll buy it, but I’ll surely try it out.
Nightgate: Try Edition is now available on iOS, and you can now download the game via the App Store for free. The game is exclusive to iOS, as even the original hasn’t been released on Android yet.
