Philipp Stollenmayer (kamibox) has announced his new full-sung musical adventure title, PBJ – The Musical, set to launch on March 26 2025 on iPad or iPhone, priced at $3.99/ 3.99€/ 3.99£. It features a great soundtrack, composed and performed with live instruments by renowned musician, Lorraine Bowen.
Experience a one-of-a-kind handcrafted musical game with PBJ – The Musical
PBJ – The Musical is a unique, handcrafted musical game, that combines elements of a game and a musical, all presented with stunning stop-motion animation. In this game, you can enjoy a funny inaccurate tragic origin story of Peanut Butter and Jelly, inspired by Romeo and Juliet.
I am interested in joining this whimsical journey with the rebellious Strawberry Girl and the disillusioned Peanut Boy and guiding them through beautifully animated paper landscapes.
Plus, you will definitely be interested too because the music was composed and performed by Lorraine Bowen, the Golden Buzzer winner from Britain’s Got Talent using real instruments, with children’s performances, and even entire Church choirs.
Manipulate to shape the narrative according to your will or enjoy it as a musical
You can shape the narrative of the story as you want, by dragging, pulling, and pushing everything in this interactive musical. Another exciting feature is the Guided Mode, which allows you to enjoy the game purely as a musical, which I will definitely try once the game launches.
With ten musical acts by Lorraine Bowen, spinoff remixes by various artists, hundreds of hand-cut paper figures creating stunning stop-motion visuals, multiple accessibility options, and real children reciting wrong Shakespeare quotes, this game aims to deliver a one-of-a-kind experience.
PBJ – The Musical is set to launch on March 26, 2025, on iPhone and iPad, and you can pre-order it via the App Store. The game is priced at $3.99/ 3.99€/ 3.99£.
