Just recently, Pokemon GO unveiled its calendar of events for July 2023, which included its annual anniversary celebration. This year marks the 7th anniversary of Pokemon GO, and Niantic has organized a whole party exactly like the previous year. From Thursday, July 6, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. to Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at 8:00 p.m. local time, the celebration will feature rotating bonuses, glimmering Gimmighoul coins, different Pokémon appearing each day to help us celebrate, the return of a shiny Masterwork Research Story, and more.
New Pokemon in Pokemon GO 7th Anniversary
The Pokémon GO debuts of Wartortle, and Blastoise are coming soon! Trainers can now develop Squirtle Candy to evolve Squirtle wearing a party hat into Wartortle wearing a party hat, and then into Blastoise wearing a party hat.

Anniversary-themed Field Research tasks will be available during the 7th anniversary celebrations in Pokemon GO. Please be aware that all purchases, including those for other Trainers, are final subject to applicable law and the exceptions set forth in the Terms of Service. Masterwork Research story will be available once more as part of Pokemon GO 7th Anniversary
This Masterwork Research tale, which was initially accessible during the Pokémon GO Tour: Kanto in 2021, is being made once more accessible as part of the Pokemon GO 7th Anniversary Party.
