Akatsuki Games has announced a new cyberpunk ninja 3D action game known as Project Akatsuki, coming soon to mobile devices. The upcoming game was announced at the Akatsuki Games Now livestream. The game takes place in a cyberpunk world and is heavily inspired by Japanese mythologies. The game will have characters resembling Onis and other animals from the mythologies.
Hack and slash your way through enemies in Project Akatsuki
Project Akatsuki is influenced by anime and mangas and has been in development for the past year. The game is 3 character squad game set in Akatsuki City and follows a Ninja Motif theme. Players will need to form a team known as a task force and hack and slash to defeat their enemies. The game features numerous characters with each their unique fighting style and weapon choices.

The characters wield weapons such as a gigantic mage that can change its form, a mech that fires a barrage of missiles at the enemies from afar, and more. The game looks to form a unique squad of characters, for amazing team attacks that are executed with precision using specific team members and their skills.
The game will have amazing rendered cutscenes that are made with the same technology and technicalities that were used for Akatsuki Games’ popular title Tribe Nine. The hiring for the development project is still ongoing, and interested fans can check out the hiring website to get a look at the game’s development.
There are no details about the release date yet or the regions and will be unveiled later. It is also not confirmed if the game will be released for both Android and iOS devices. Interested players can keep an eye on the game’s official website and Twitter for more details.
