One of the most awaited and wanted things in PUBG Mobile is here, at last, the Erangel 2.0. Basically it is a refurnished, vintage, and more sophisticated looking version of the most played map in the game. We first knew about this map in PUBG Mobile Club Open (PMCO) Spring split 2019 global final, which took place in Berlin, Germany. But since then we were expecting it to be in the game but it never came to date. However, the recent announcement from PUBG Mobile India Twitter account confirmed the arrival of Erangel 2.0.
Solving the puzzle confirms that it is Erangel 2.0
The developers posted this as a puzzle. However, if we connect the puzzle we can clearly see it as Erangel 2.0. Here is what it will look like.
In addition, the Erangel 2.0 map is already in the beta version and the Chinese Game for Peace. The employees of Tencent are testing the map themselves because they do not want any bugs or glitches in the latest map, unlike the previous Erangel.
Changes and Upgrades in PUBG Mobile Erangel 2.0
There are many visual and player-experience changes and upgrades done in the Erangel 2.0 in PUBG Mobile. We have listed down some major changes and upgrades for you.
Addition of new buildings
A lot of new buildings have been introduced to the new map. New additions include new squad-houses, triple-stories, and towers. Also, Tencent has changed the textures of the buildings.
Addition of new objects
Additions of new objects in-game include cannons, broken tanks, war bunkers, broken cars, and war-themed trenches. These objects will provide good covers and therefore shelter to the players.
Hidden bunkers in houses
Players will find many hidden bunkers in large buildings like squad house, triple-storied building, etc. Players will have to break small wooden bars with their weapons which will be covering the bunker’s doors. The bunkers interconnect between the inside and outside of the houses. If a player enters a bunker from outside, then he can easily go inside of the squad house and surprise the enemies.
New look of buildings
Many buildings and monuments of Erangel 2.0 got massive changes in their looks. Like, the color of the School building is now white, which is dark red in the main Erangel map, the shapes and textures of the warehouses are also changed.
Additionally, Modern buildings got an old-school look. Many buildings that were intact in the main Erangel map have now got a destroyed look in the Erangel 2.0.
Color contrast updates for a more realistic look
PUBG Mobile and Tencent are working very hard to give players a console gaming feeling through the Erangel 2.0. The colors contrast done to this map are huge. The grasses are now darker and bigger than the main Erangel map, the whole scenario is now more realistic and it is based on a post-war scene.

Extra features in Erangel 2.0:
A new graphic option is also coming with Erangel 2.0, which is the long-awaited Ultra-HD graphic setting. In this graphic setting, the game’s texture will look ultra-realistic. Therefore, trees, water, buildings will get a whole new look.
