PUBG Mobile Pro League (PMPL) North America is scheduled between March 23 to April 11, 2021. According to the official notification, a total of 20 teams will battle it out for a prize pool of $1,50,000. It will also be Season 1 of PMPL North America after the Americas region was broken down into North America, LATAM, and Brazil from 2021. The PUBG Mobile Esports tournament will be played in two stages i.e. the league stage and the grand finals and it’s expected to be concluded in the third week of April 2021.

Out of the 20 teams, the top 13 teams from PMCO 2021 spring: North America directly qualified for PMPL North America Season 1. Rest 7 teams are invited based on their rankings. All the teams will be divided into five groups of four teams each.

PMPL North America Season 1 Format
League Stage
The league stage of PUBG Mobile Pro League (PMPL) North America Season 1 will witness 20 teams battle against each other for 4 weeks. For the first three weeks, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from March 23 will be league play, and Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays will be considered as Super Weekend. After every week, the top 16 teams after league play will proceed to the subsequent super weekend matches. In the PMPL North America, the points earned in the super weekend matches will only be considered for the qualification to the PMPL Finals.
Finals
After the completion of super weekend matches, the top 16 teams from the leaderboard will move to PMPL North America Finals. The official schedule for the finals is yet to be released. We will update as and when we receive official notification from PUBG Mobile.
Point System in PMPL NA Season 1
The point system in PMPL Season 1 North America is the same as PMPL SA. Each kill will correspond to 1 point. After every game, the points will be divided such as the team finishing 1st will get 15 points. The team in the 2nd position will get 12 points and the team in 3rd position will get 10 points.
