Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced the soft launch of its new multiplayer arena shooter title, Ratchet & Clank: Ranger Rumble, now available on both Android and iOS in Indonesia and the Philippines.
Developed by Oh Bibi, known for BEAST: Bio Exo Arena Suit Team, it is open for global pre-registration. Ratchet & Clank: Ranger Rumble comes as the first title from PlayStation Mobile, following Sony’s ambition to expand PlayStation in the mobile gaming industry

All the Ratchet & Clank fans out there can finally gear up, as Ratchet & Clank: Ranger Rumble lets you jump into an arena shooter packed with iconic characters and explosive weapons. It captures the same humor and action that made the franchise so loved among fans, now reimagined as a real-time multiplayer platformer shooter.
You’ll dive in as 10 unique heroes in a new story where Captain Qwark is searching for the next generation of Rangers through a combat simulation. And as someone who enjoys games like Apex Legends, I’m amazed by how movement plays as big a role as combat, offering its platformer charm.
Players can explore iconic maps and locations, and try various game modes
Plus, longtime fans will love revisiting the iconic maps and locations while playing as familiar characters from the franchise. Though I love that, it’s the huge arsenal of over 20 unique weapons, from the Glove of Doom to Buzz Blades, that excites me the most. I mean, who wouldn’t want to shoot some storms of razors at enemies?
Moreover, the game really shows a lot of promise and is packed with great content, featuring multiple modes like Bolt Rush, Total Rumble, and Blast Ball, along with exclusive skins, the Qwark Pass, and a detailed roadmap. Now, I just hope the global release comes soon, as I can’t wait to smash enemies as Lombax or other heroes.
Ratchet & Clank: Ranger Rumble is now available on both Android and iOS in Indonesia and the Philippines. If you’re from this region, you can now download the game via your respective Google Play Store or App Store, and the rest can pre-register for it via the website.
