Aniplex Inc. has announced the soft launch of their survival horror strategy title, Resident Evil Survival Unit, now available on both Android and iOS in Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, and the Philippines. First revealed in July, this Resident Evil-based title also opened pre-registration at the same time.
Restore an abandoned mansion as your stronghold and survive at any cost
If you didn’t know, Resident Evil Survival Unit is a survival horror strategy title jointly created by Aniplex, JOYCITY, and CAPCOM. In this game, you step into the role of a survivor, tasked with building a base, gathering resources, and expanding your influence to carve out a path to survival.

The story begins with a mysterious infection that rapidly destroys the city, leaving chaos in its wake. You and a small group of survivors must take shelter in an abandoned mansion, where you restore its facilities and manage resources, defense, and research, to survive.
Play with the iconic Resident Evil characters, and enjoy a new storyline
What makes it so exciting for me is the chance to use iconic characters like Leon S. Kennedy, Claire Redfield, and Jill Valentine. Each brings unique skills that you can take advantage of in tactical battles, and during your exploration, you’ll meet other survivor groups, choosing whether to team up or conflict.
The game looks very promising with its mix of iconic characters, combat loadout, an exclusive new story, resource management, Weapons Merchant, real-time defense missions, deadly creatures, and more. It even introduces an original creature named Mortem by legendary illustrator Yoshitaka Amano.
Resident Evil Survival Unit is now available in soft launch on both Android and iOS in Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, and the Philippines. You can now download the game via your respective Google Play Store or App Store. Stay tuned for more updates regarding the global launch!
