Northica has announced the relaunch of their turn-based dice-driven strategy RPG, Rimelands: Hammer of Thor, now available on both Android and iOS for $4.99. Developed by Dicework Games, the game was initially released in 2010 on iOS, it has now been restoredĀ and updated after 15 years.
Dive into handcrafted dungeons while enjoying steampunk norse lore
So, Rimelands: Hammer of Thor is an offline, turn-based dungeon crawlerĀ set in a steampunk Norse world whereĀ physics-based dice roll decides the outcome. I didn’t get to play the earlier award-winning version, but I can’t wait to experience the tabletop-style combat now that is back again.

You play as Rose Cristo, a treasure hunter on a journey to uncover the mystery that could tear the world apart. And I’m sure it’ll be fun to forge your hero by blending Barbarian, Assassin, and Shaman skill path. But do remember that every decision permanently affects how you survive fights and challenges.
As you progress, you’ll explore handcrafted dungeons packed with traps, secrets, and tough tactical encounters while hunting for unique gear. Overall, the game looks very promising with steampunk meets Valhalla lore, classless progression, physics-based dice, and now with improved UI readability and fixed legacy issues from the original release.
Rimelands: Hammer of Thor is now available on both Android and iOS for $4.99. So, you can now download the game via the respective Google Play Store or App Store.
