Pixeljam Games has announced that their hit rogue-lite space shooter title, Nova Drift, is set to launch on both Android and iOS on March 10. Developed by Chimeric, the game is now open for pre-registration on iOS, and is finally porting to mobile after starting development in 2014.
Get ready to pilot an ever-evolving bio mechanical ship and create havoc across the void
So, Nova Drift is a ship-crafting roguelike space shooter that blends classic arcade space combat with action-RPG elements. Now, you might be surprised to know the project started way back in 2014, went into Early Access in 2019, and following a hit PC release, we’re finally getting to experience it on mobile.

Gameplay wise, you control an endlessly evolving bio-mechanical ship that grows stronger as you defeat enemies, letting you build and refine the ship in a single run. I also like how quick each sessions are, taking only 15-45 minutes as most of most are having busy schedules these days.
You can build your perfect ship, try campaign or endless modes, and more
And, if you’ve the time, you can tweak with over 200 modular upgrades that unlock gradually to create your ideal build. I mean, it’s actually satisfying to experiment with diverse Weapons, Shield, and Body Gear to like burn enemies with your thrusters or command a drone army in Modular challenge modes.
Overall, the game looks very fun considering it has such overwhelmingly positive reviews on Steam, and even the content is great, with every run randomly generated, optimized performance, cool visuals, deep customization, music by Miles Tilmann, mobile gamepad support, and more.
Nova Drift is launching on both Android and iOS on March 10, 2026. So, if you’re an iOS user, you can pre-register for the game via the App Store, while Android users need to wait. Stay tuned for more updates!
