SIEGE Apocalypse: KIXEYE’s strategy title is now globally available on Android and iOS

Think you have what it takes to fight the Scarlet Brigade?

The upcoming week is set to be a grand week for fans of War Commander: Rogue Assault. Siege: Apocalypse, the long-awaited War Commander spin-off from KIXEYE and Simutronics, is now available on Android and iOS. The game had earlier soft-launched in selected countries and is now globally available on mobile.

Set many years before the events of the first game, Siege: Apocalypse’s storyline covers the period during the downfall of the original Rogue group. As the game progresses, you will earn more information as the tragic collapse comes to light as you progress through the campaign. Your enemy, of course, is the Scarlet Brigade. Curse those red devils.

SIEGE: Apocalypse brings the battles to life in the form of card-based strategy

Gameplay-wise, Siege: Apocalypse is a deck-building PVP strategy game that sees you taking on other players in ferocious, gritty, highly tactical battles on maps based on real-world battlefields. The game’s assortment of troops, weapons, and vehicles are highly authentic too, and as you thrust them into combat you’ll gradually add new cards to your deck, unlock new powers, level up your army, and more.

These cards come in a variety of different forms. Some are defensive, some offensive. Some are troop cards, with unit types falling into a number of categories including snipers, riflemen, paratroopers, rocket launchers, and tanks. Then there are the tactics cards, which allow you to pull off maneuvers like artillery bombardments, airdrops, airstrikes, and laying mines to blow your unsuspecting opponents sky high.

Alongside its campaign Siege: Apocalypse also contains a huge number of gameplay features to keep things fresh and interesting. There are global events and tournaments to take part in, new content every month, and new bespoke challenges twice a week.

Additionally, the game also has an alliance system and leaderboards where you can track your progress and earn bragging rights over your hapless enemies. Or you can just take it easy in the offline mode, killing bots for practice. Either way, Siege: Apocalypse rewards engagement with prestige tiers, giving you early access to new cards.
