Rooter, India’s largest game streaming platform, revealed today that it has signed a deal for streaming all of Skyesports‘ IPs for the next year as their official media rights partner. Skyesports is South Asia’s largest esports tournament organizer, with competitions held under its own IPs.
Rooter to stream all Skyesports competitions from now on
All of Skyesports’ unique competitions will be streamed exclusively on Rooter in the future. The events will be streamed in Hindi, English, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali, and Telugu, keeping in view Skyesports’ and Rooter’s goal of making esports and game streaming as accessible as possible. Viewers who tune in to Skyesports tournaments on Rooter will also be eligible for special prizes.
Skyesports attracted more than 200 million viewers across all of its competitions last year, with the Skyesports Championship 3.0 BGMI Finals setting a new concurrent viewership record of 221,000. Throughout the year, Rooter will produce new content based on Skyesports’ IPs to provide fans with more amusement.

Skyesports already announced a series of competitions for 2022
Skyesports announced its roadmap for 2022 earlier this month, with prize money totaling more than $530,000 (Rs. 4 crores) spread across multiple competitions. The Skyesports Grand Slam, Skyesports Pro League, Skyesports League, Skyesports Championship, and Skyesports Mobile Open will all return with a new format this year.
Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), League of Legends, Free Fire, Valorant, Hearthstone, FIFA, Real Cricket, Supercell titles, and more will be included in each IP. In addition, the Skyesports League and the Skyesports Championship 4.0 will be held as LAN events, marking the company’s return to offline events after more than two years.
