Unknown Worlds‘ underwater adventure title, Subnautica’s sequel titled Subnautica: Below Zero, is coming to mobile. This standalone spin-off to the original Subnautica is now open for pre-registration on Android and iOS platforms.
In Subnautica: Below Zero, you explore frozen biomes, new creatures, and aliens
If you played the first game, this one builds on that experience but adds colder waters, new threats, and a more personal story. This 2021 release on PC and Consoles is here on mobile after five years, and is expected to be a hit just like Subnautica, which debuted last year.

Set in an arctic region of the same alien planet, Below Zero puts you in the role of a survivor investigating the disappearance of your sister after a crash landing. As you explore the icy seas, you will uncover new biomes, strange creatures, and alien secrets while managing hunger, oxygen, and extreme cold.
On the gameplay side, Below Zero keeps the familiar Subnautica loop intact. You gather resources, build underwater bases, and craft tools and vehicles to explore deeper and more dangerous areas. The Snowfox hoverbike lets you travel across frozen land, while the modular Seatruck helps you navigate the ocean depths.
For mobile, the game has been reworked with a dedicated touch-based interface, cloud saves, and Google Play Games achievements on Android. The developers have also optimized performance to make long exploration sessions more comfortable on our small-screen devices.
If you played the prequel, pre-register for Subnautica: Below Zero on your Android and iOS devices. Subnautica: Below Zero is having an expected release date of March 10, 2026, as per the store listing, and a price of $8.99 on mobile platforms.
