Supercell expands Regional Pricing update to Clash Royale following Clash of Clans’ rollout

A much needed change!

Story Highlights
  • Regional pricing comes to Clash Royale across 100+ countries for fairer in-game purchases.
  • Pass Royale gifting between lower and higher-priced regions will now be restricted.

If you’ve ever felt that Clash Royale’s in-game prices were a little tough on your wallet, depending on where you live, there’s some good news. Supercell has officially rolled out regional pricing in Clash Royale across more than 100 countries.

Prices are being adjusted to match the local cost of living, not increased anywhere

The regions included in this rollout cover Latin America, Africa, Eastern Europe, Southeast Asia, and Central Asia. With this change, you’ll notice that in-game purchases like gems, Pass Royale, and other items might now cost less, depending on your country’s cost of living.

The best part is that the prices won’t go up anywhere, only down where needed. So if you’re from a country with a lower cost of living, expect to see better value for your money when you spend in Clash Royale. However, there’s one important balance rule.

To keep things fair, players from regions with lower-priced items won’t be able to gift Pass Royale to players in the higher-priced areas. Supercell has also promised to regularly review and adjust these prices as needed, making sure they stay fair over time.

You might still see minor differences during the rollout phase, but the aim is to keep improving and expanding this system globally. This move follows the same approach taken by Clash of Clans, which recently introduced regional pricing for its Gold Pass and Event Pass.

Now that Clash Royale is following in those footsteps, other Supercell games will shortly follow to make the experience equally rewarding for its global player base. Read other related Clash Royale articles:
