Tale of Sword, a new idle RPG, begins global open beta test on Android

Welcome to the Epic and Unique cartoon world!

Loongcheer Game has revealed that the global open beta test for Tale of Sword idle RPG is commencing on the Google Play Store. Players will assume the role of a hero named Vahn, who embarks on a quest to find a sword capable of sealing the Underworld gate, which was inadvertently opened by Demtoy. They will join forces with companions and embark on a mission to rescue the world.

Tale of Sword features comic shows after particular chapters

A team of professional artists was responsible for crafting the comics, aiming to elevate the players’ immersion and enjoyment of the game. Players will encounter various types of monsters, meet assisting characters, and ultimately overcome the final boss. The comics will vividly illustrate all the captivating chapters. As players remain curious about the storyline, they must persist in the game to unveil the unfolding outcome.

The game’s artistic style evokes the aesthetics of Japanese comics from the 1980s and 1990s. Under the influence of this artistic inspiration, the character design in Tale of Sword departs from realistic body proportions, resulting in a more simplistic and rough appearance that is uncommon within the current gaming genre. Moreover, the focus in the hero lineup prioritizes quality over quantity, with a total of only 39 heroes, each intricately designed.

Tale of Sword presents a perfect blend of idle and action gaming

In their analysis of Tale of Sword, the author highlights the presence of a helpful feature called the “cheerleader” setting. This feature aims to alleviate the stress associated with choosing which hero to include in the formation. Despite the combat teams being limited to a maximum of four heroes, players can unlock the Supporter role upon reaching a certain level. This enables other heroes to join the four main heroes in a supportive capacity.

The Tale of Sword game strikes a good balance between idle gameplay and diversity. With features such as auto-battle mode, automatic weapon enhancement, and a variety of idle rewards, it is described as an accessible and relaxed idle game.

Additionally, the game offers not just idle gameplay but also various mini-games that enhance the overall gaming experience, providing players with enjoyable moments through simple taps. Interested players can participate in the Tale of Sword open beta test on the Google Play Store.
