Level Infinite, a subsidiary of Tencent Games, has opened early access to its GTA-like ARPG, Codename Crime-Vice Open World, now available on Android in Indonesia. Canada, along with the US. First revealed to be in development last year, the game had previously opened early access in the US.
Explore the criminal underworld and build your own empire
If you’re from Indonesia, Canada, or the US, you can now dive into the vibrant streets of Rooklyn, a place where crime is always around the corner. For those unfamiliar, Codename Crime-Vice Open World brings an urban open-world action RPG experience, letting you grind your way up the crime ladder.

Lore-wise, a failed bank heist sends you to jail, and once you walk out, you begin your journey through Rooklyn’s criminal underworld. Here, you can explore the city’s busy streets and hidden alleys, face random gang clashes, and try to survive the chaos to build your own criminal empire.
Players can relive GTA-like thrills and team up for heists
As someone who spent most of my childhood playing GTA titles, I, like many, always look out for titles that replicate the same fun on mobile. So, the idea of teaming up with friends for co-op heists reminds me of GTA V days. Plus, I can’t miss out on the intense shootouts and speedy street races.
Moreover, just like GTA V, you can run underground businesses to grow your wealth, if you want a lavish lifestyle, of course. You can buy supercars and even modify them to your liking. So, to make it simple, if you want a solid GTA-like experience, this is worth trying, especially with the variety of weapons, cars, PvP elements, stunning visuals, and more.
Codename Crime-Vice Open World is now available in early access on Android in the US, Indonesia, and Canada. So, you can now download the game via the Google Play Store. However, there is no information regarding an iOS or global launch yet. Stay tuned for more updates!
