XD Inc. has announced an official global offline event for their beloved dungeon-crawler ARPG, Torchlight: Infinite, called TorchCon Seoul, set for Seoul on January 10. Following the Shanghai one that was held in last July, this is the second global event, but the first to connect directly with players.
Get ready for 2026 roadmap and exclusive developer Q&A in TorchCon Seoul
To give some context, TorchCon is a global event focused on sharing behind the scenes development details and future direction of Torchlight: Infinite, which globally released in May 2023. You can think of it like ComicCon for Torchlight fans, where major updates and seasons for 2025 are reviewed, along with 2026 roadmap reveal.
I’m envious of the Korean players, as there will also be a developer Q&A session, with the panel featuring the game’s Development Director Liu Hyeong, Executive Producer Wang Yule, and Global Community Manager Andre. They’ll also be discussing in details about content design intentions and future plans.
XD is also in the process of completing the acquisition of the Torchlight IP and promises “to invest with a global perspective, working with players and developers,” to take it to new heights.
With TorchCon Seoul, they plan to clearly convey the game’s core philosophy and long-term content vision, while improving the connection between the global community and Korean players.
