- Total War: Napoleon delivers a rich blend of strategy and action as you relive Napoleon’s rise to power.

Feral Interactive has announced that their turn-based real-time strategy title, Total War: NAPOLEON, is scheduled to launch on both Android and iOS on December 2. Developed by Creative Assembly, this classic title follows the success of Total War: EMPIRE on mobile, which launched in November 2024.
Relive Napoleon’s journey and command history’s greatest battles
Total War: Napoleon offers an engaging blend of turn-based strategy and real-time battles, all wrapped around a story-rich campaign that follows Napoleon’s rise to power. Here, you get to relive his journey from early victories in Italy and Egypt to his European conquests and the birth of the First French Empire.
The best part? You can take command as Napoleon himself or lead rival European powers against him, while controlling massive armies across detailed 3D land and sea battles. And as someone who enjoys both history and this IP, I can’t wait to rewrite his defeats or lead Britain or France via the showdown at Waterloo.
Players can relive iconic campaigns and historic conquests with refined improvements
While the Campaigns of the Coalition are fun, I love that the Peninsular Campaign DLC is now included by default, letting you retake Iberia. Then there’s Napoleon’s Battles, where you can experience key moments in his campaigns. Plus, the addition of four new factions: Spain, Portugal, Denmark, and the Ottoman Empire, adds to the fun.
If you’ve played other Total War titles, this one feels like a great addition. With its new particle effects, refined 19th-century weapon systems, a custom user interface, various quality-of-life improvements, full keyboard and mouse support, and more, the game looks enjoyable, though a premium one.
Total War: Napoleon is launching on both Android and iOS on December 2 for $14.99. You can now pre-register for the game via your respective Google Play Store or App Store.
