Coatsink has announced that they’re porting their stunning minimalist city builder puzzle title as ISLANDERS: Mobile, scheduled to launch on both Android and iOS on November 20. Developed by
The Station, the game comes with updated touch controls and more.
Prepare to experience strategic building across charming biomes
ISLANDERS: Mobile is a casual city builder that lets you design your own peaceful island retreats. So, this is a mobile port of the beloved minimalist city-building sequel, ISLANDERS: New Shores, and this one perfectly captures that same relaxing experience.
Here, you begin each level with a set of buildings to choose from, placing them strategically to earn the highest score. And I can see why so many players enjoy it because even I’m excited to explore its 44 building types spread across 6 unique biomes, each with 4 color palettes.
Players can look forward to a feature-rich mobile port
And don’t worry, as this isn’t a simple port either. The devs have promised that it will look just as gorgeous as other platforms and will include a new mechanic called Boons, which act as one-time power-ups to duplicate or replace buildings.
Overall, this mobile port looks like a wonderful, replayable experience filled with Sandbox and Photo game modes, a glowing Luminescent biome, 50 island generators, and 75 minutes of charming music, advanced scoring systems, and even Twitch integration for streamers out there.
ISLANDERS: Mobile is scheduled to launch on both Android and iOS on November 20. You can now pre-register for the game via the Google Play Store or App Store.
