Tower of Fantasy was first released in China and later released globally less than 2 weeks ago. And just after the global release, the dev team announced a new update for the game. Tower of Fantasy 2.0 update is supposed to be a massive overhaul of the game.
This new update is expected to bring new regions, new characters, new mounts, and of course some amazing events along with important bug fixes, QoL updates, and improvements in the gameplay experience
ToF version 2.0 update will expand the region with the addition of Vera and Mirroria
With the 2.0 update, Tower of Fantasy will get a massive region expansion due to the addition of two regions Vera and Mirroria. Not to mention the unveiling of the mysterious ‘Mirror City’, featuring a cyberpunk theme and a massive floating city in the sky. The update will introduce new world bosses, and mounts and even have the debuts of many upcoming Simulacras.
Tower of Fantasy version 2.0 update release date
As for the ToF Global version, players have been in full anticipation of the 2.0 update from the very start. This update would improve the core gameplay drastically, and it wouldn’t be far-fetched to say that the update makes it a new game entirely. This upcoming update would cement the game to be a truly unique futuristic MMORPG.
Before the release of the trailer, there were rumors that the game might have an accelerated schedule. This means in comparison to the CN version of the game, the Global version would get the updates much faster.
This trailer reveal has confirmed that, even if the release date has not been specified, players can expect version 2.0 to arrive in the period of 3-4 months from now on. The 2.0 update arrived in the CN version of the game 8 months after its release.
