Ubisoft has officially announced that Tom Clancy’s popular game title on PC and consoles, The Division for mobile platforms is in development. They made this announcement in an update on their website regarding the other Division games and a new title for PC, console, and cloud. Now, the Division universe will truly be expanding to a very big player base. With more games to come, there’s no stopping to the Division world.
The Division Universe is Expanding
Ubisoft themselves put it perfectly in their post:
The Division universe will definitely expand, and more likely to see more titles to be released in the future.
Ubisoft has a bunch of very ambitious things planned out in this series, including a Netflix film and a novel. Them working on a game for mobile just shows off how much potential the mobile gaming industry has. Recently we’ve seen titles like EA’s Apex Legends, Battlefield, and Valorant to name a few are either already making their way to mobile or planning to shortly.
About Tom Clancy’s The Division
For those who’re not aware of the Division games yet, they’re online action RPGs set in the future. It follows a plot where a viral pandemic has wreaked havoc. Hopefully, the experience provided but Ubisoft in this mobile version is at least on the level with the PC and Console versions which received a lot of critical acclaims. All that being said, even though The Division mobile game announced is official, there hasn’t been any mention of a release date yet. Ubisoft has also promised more information regarding this version called The Division Mobile soon. This is something they intend to work on and deliver.
