NetEase Games has revealed the next major update, Version 1.3, titled Spring’s Bliss, for its open-world Wuxia ARPG, Where Winds Meet, set for February 6. This update brings a new Sect inspired by traditional Chinese opera, Guild War League, World Bosses, Spring Festival festivities, and more.

Where Winds Meet Version 1.3 introduces The Masked Trope sect
One of the highlights of Version 1.3 is the introduction of the Masked Trope, a new sect joining the game on February 13. Moreover, this sect beautifully blends traditional opera culture with Chinese martial arts, letting you experience a combat style with opera being the essence and martial arts as foundation.

Their combat style looks very smooth with fluid footwork, rhythmic strikes, and skills inspired by singing, acting, and combat of the traditional Chinese opera. They’ll be a fun addition, and you can soon seamlessly flow between offense and defense while performing lethal techniques.
In Version 1.3 you’ll get to try the new mystic skill, Contortion

Besides the sect, Version 1.3 also introduces a new mystic called Contortion, letting you temporarily shrink your body. This is great as it opens up new traversal opportunities for us, and we also get to do surprise attacks during clutch times. If intrigued, you can try this skill during the new Spring Festival activity Tiny Adventure.
Challenge the two new World Bosses in Where Winds Meet Version 1.3
Plus, after this Version 1.3 update, while exploring the wilderness you may run into the two new World Bosses: Drunk Martial Artist and Coffin Master. Each comes with a distinct fighting style, with one being chaotic and unrestrained, while the other is dark and brooding. So, you’ll have to adapt to unique combat techniques and rhythms.
The Guild War League is coming to provide long-term competition
Coming to guilds, Where Winds Meet is bringing the new Guild War league with the Version 1.3 update. This will roll out in phased competition format, starting with placement matches to divide you into groups, before moving into regular season, where get to take on group-ranking battles.
Spring Festival events is bringing a variety of rewards and experience
Now, what’s a update without some fun events right? Don’t worry as Where Winds Meet Version 1.3 update will kick off a Spring Festival Celebration, running from February 6 to March 5. With this, the Jianghu transforms with lantern-filled streets, busting areas, and more.
