The Year 2026 is going to be a really interesting year showcasing some exciting new releases in the world of Pokémon UNITE. Meowth will officially release on January 9, while other Pokémon like Sirfetch’d and the three Legendary Birds are scheduled to arrive later in the year. This article takes a closer look at all the Pokémon expected to join the Pokémon UNITE roster in 2026.
Meowth releases on January 9th, with Sirfetfch’d arriving later this month
The Pokémon Company has officially confirmed that the next Pokémon releasing in Pokémon UNITE is Meowth. This update will be introducing one of the most iconic and fan-favorite Pokémon from the Pokémon anime series. Meowth will be releasing as a powerful ranged Pokémon with lots of offensive abilities, especially it’s ultimate ability which allows you to lock onto an enemy and burst them down.
While Meowth will be making it’s debut on Janaury 9th in Pokémon UNITE, other exciting future Pokémon release has been leaked. According to leaks, Sirfetch’d, the Water Duck Pokémon, is expected to arrive in Pokémon UNITE later this month. Many players are eagerly anticipating its release due to its aggressive, combat-focused playstyle.
3 new Legendary Bird Pokémon is coming this year
According to new Datamine leaks from popular Pokémon UNITE leaker, ElChicoEevee, 3 new Legendary Bird Pokémon will be releasing later this year. This Legendary Bird Trio Pokémon will include:
- Zapdos
- Articuno, and
- Moltres.
I personally can’t wait for this new batch of Pokémon releases especially since Zapdos will no longer be a wild Pokémon but a playable character. That’s all for the upcoming Pokémon releases in Pokémon UNITE.
