Inspired by the beloved “Arcane” series, this current Wild Rift Patch 5.3C introduces new champions, thrilling in-game events in advance of the release of Arcane Season 2. and a deeper connection to the Runeterra’s lore.
Powerful new characters, dynamic challenges, and immersive gameplay modes are all anticipated to be released ahead of the Netflix production. Thus, promising lots of memorable moments for everyone to enjoy. With this known, let’s check out full details of all the Arcane-themed events available on the Rift.
Arcane Season 2-inspired Champions are coming to Wild Rift
To give everyone immersive gameplay, the devs are going to incorporate some Arcane Season 2 characters into the Wild Rift champion roster. Not just that, some champions would be having some rework to make their abilities feel similar to their Arcane versions.
1. Heimerdinger
This October featured the release of Heimerdinger, the newest mage champion to join the Wild Rift roster. He is one of the important characters to feature in Arcane and appears with the current Wild Rift patch. His kit revolves around the strategic placement of turrets, crowd control, and dealing burst magic damage with his rockets.
Heimerdinger also excels at zone control and poke damage, making him a formidable presence in team fights. The devs teased that Heimerdinger will play a crucial role in the upcoming Arcane Season 2. So whilst we await his release, we should have fun using him and his creative inventions on the Rift.
2. Ambressa
Another champion hero inspired by the upcoming second season of Arcane is Ambressa. Known as the Matriarch of War, she is a ruthless close combat fighter who will surely terrorize foes on the rift with her deadly combos. She is scheduled to be released in November 2024, most probably in the same week as the Arcane Season 2 release.
Arcane Season 2 inspired Champion Reworks
Here are some of the Arcane season 2-inspired champion reworks scheduled to be released in Wild Rift:
1. Singed
The devs are hoping to add some chemical balance by giving Singed more combat power as well as ally influence. This new version of Singed will have the ability to bond with allies, giving them new buffs.
2. Warwick
Warwick would be reworked to give him some extra Consistency and power in his Hunt. The devs also promise to update the targeting logic of Warwick’s ultimate ability, granting him more precision to take down enemies aggressively.
Arcane Season 2 inspired Events
In anticipation of Arcane Season 2, the devs will be bringing about lots of cool events showcasing some exciting Stories and adventures in Arcane. On participating in this event, you would be able to obtain cool exclusive rewards including Skin Chests and lots more completely for Free.
Firelights Reignite event
This event would be exploring new corners of Zayn and Piltover. The Firelight Reignight event draws direct inspiration from Arcane Season 2 and would be following different immersive stories of what it’s like living in the Firelight’s Hideout.
On completing Story quests in each chapter, you will receive bonus event-themed rewards. In each event chapter, logging in, and playing a match daily will grant bonus Phlogiston that would unlock lots of exciting exclusive rewards.
