Wild Rift Patch 4.2 update: Elemental Dragon

In Patch 4.2, a brand-new elemental Dragon called the Ice Dragon swoops onto the Rift! For champions that wield spells, killing the Ice Dragon is a particularly rewarding goal because doing so grants ability haste.

A frozen terrain will take over the Rift if the Ice Dragon is the first to be killed in the game. This frozen landscape will result in ice appearing along the edges of buildings in the jungle and river, giving players an advantage when gliding through it. When the icy landscape takes control, Frozen Fruit will also spawn. When a champion attacks it, it will freeze any enemies caught in its blast, like Zhonya’s Hourglass, rendering them untargetable and invulnerable for a brief period.

Wild Rift patch 4.2 update: Gameplay Item changes

Riot Games aims to refine roles to make sure that, whether players are mage main or a fan of fighters, their role feels satisfying, rewarding, and fun to play throughout the year. The Playhem patch introduces several intriguing possibilities for marksmen, whereas the previous patch concentrated on new and upgraded items for tanks.

Immortal Shieldbow

The new Immortal Shieldbow provides additional protection for marksmen. You’ll trigger the item’s special Lifeline passive when you take damage that would bring your health below a particular level, giving you a brief shield and additional attack damage that works well with the life steal built into the item to boost your odds of surviving.

The Collector

The Collector’s attack damage, critical strike chance, and lethality offer a potent combination of offensive stats for marksmen. When foes are damaged below a specific threshold, the item also enables you to execute them, earning you more gold each time. Caster marksmen should also anticipate improvements to those weapons to make Phantom Dancer, Manamune, and Essence Reaver more appealing pick-ups.

Wild Rift Patch 4.2 update: Quality of Life Changes

Players will be given new options in the Playhem patch to personalize their Wild Rift experience more. The Gallery Skin Sets feature added at the end of the previous year, allows players to view their favorite Star Guardians and K/DA members side by side. Players will also get unique rewards if they have a complete collection of skins.

UI Customization

Additionally, the in-game UI customization option is being introduced. If the default colors don’t suit players’ tastes, they can outfit new modifications from the Collection page.
