Wuthering Waves has shared the livestream date of its version 3.0 update. With the ongoing 2.8, the game has already marked down the date and showcased what is waiting for the players. This is going to be the biggest patch the game has provided so far, so the hype is at its peak. We also dug for some information on what’s coming in the game soon. This article will briefly take a look at the leaks and confirmed elements.
Before we dive in, take a moment to explore everything introduced in the version 2.8 update. As the version has already rolled out, I hope you enjoyed all the updates. Now, the 3.0 update will arrive in-game on the 25th of December, 2025.
Two New five-star Resonators will be available
Every time the game releases an update, we wait to see the new resonators. There will be two new resonators in the 3.0 update as well. Both resonators will be five-star.
- Lynae (5-Star)
- Mornye (5-Star)
Lynae is by far the most hyped resonator. The aura she farms with her fiery motorcycle is just on another level. The might be an aid resonator being able to roam around the map with her motorcycle rather than it’s just being an action effect.
The other resonator, Mornye, is a Fusion Broadblade. The could be a DPS, we can guess by watching her primary weapon. Apart from this, the game is going to rerun some characters in two phases. They are:
- Phase 1: Cartethyia, Ciaccona
- Phase 2: Augusta, Iuno
Wuthering Waves Version 3.0 Update will bring new Main Quests
Besides the resonators, there will be main quests. We do not know about the quests yet, but as we will going to know it, we will update it here.
WuWa Version 3.0 Update brings new Weapons, Echoes, and Sonata Effect
Each time the game provides an update, it introduces new weapons and echoes. This time will be no different. The new resonators will be showcased with their signature weapons. The details are to be announced.
Echo set
We did not receive much information about anything that’s coming. But the following echo set is rumoured to arrive.
Hallo of Starry Radiance
- 2-piece bonus: Healing Bonus + 10%
- 5-piece bonus: When a resonator heals an ally, every 1% of Off-Tune Buildup Rate grants +0.2% All-Attribute DMG Bonus to all Resonators in the team (up to +25%) for 4s.
Ride of Gilded Revelation
- 2-piece bonus: Spectro DMG + 10%
- 5-piece bonus: Dealing Basic Attack DMG increases Spectro DMG by 10%, stacking up to 3 times for 5s. And, at 3 stacks, casting Resonance Liberation grants +40% Basic Attack DMG Bonus.
Sonata Effects
Sonata Effects are the set bonuses in Wuthering Waves and provide a variety of useful stat bonuses. The upcoming update will introduce new effects, and again, we do not know what they will be. So, stay close!
New collaborations arriving with WuWa Version 3.0 Update
The rumour is that Wuthering Waves is going to have a few collaborations as well.
- Cyberpunk Collab (will come later)
- Sonic the Hedgehog
- Persona 5 Royal and Persona 3 Reload
