Square Enix announced ‘Distant Worlds’ music to commemorate the 35th anniversary of the Final Fantasy series

A total of 21 concerts will be held across several regions!

Final Fantasy creator Square Enix has announced, FINAL FANTASY 35th Anniversary Distant Worlds music from FINAL FANTASY Coral to celebrate the game’s 35th anniversary. Starting from the first week of August, the concert will showcase Final Fantasy music in different cities in Asia, Europe, and the United States. The opening show will be held in Tokyo, Japan.

The show will feature Final Fantasy’s music composer Nobuo Uematsu and Grammy-Award winner Arnie Roth. However, the world tour will perform its last show of the 35th Anniversary Concerts’ in March 2023.

Distant Worlds’ music from Final Fantasy was performed for the first time in 2007 in Stockholm, Sweden. The music event has been performing tours in different locations since then. Besides, Distant Worlds has released four CDs and three live concert DVDs/Blu-ray

The program specially curated by Nobuo Uematsu, showcases Grammy-Award winner Arnie Roth

Distant Worlds music from Final Fantasy is the official symphony concert tour of the game’s soundtracks. The show presents a symphony orchestra, choir, and performances from well-known music artists. It is a monumental, retrospective celebration of Final Fantasy music.

Under the direction of FINAL FANTASY’s music composer Nobuo Uematsu, Grammy-award-winning music director Arnie Roth will lead a band of 100 musicians performing on stage. Uematsu’s ‘Eyes on Me’ featured Hong Kong pop star Faye Wong and sold 400,000 copies to become the first-ever video game music to win the 14th Annual Japan Gold Disc Awards in 1999.
