Thai powerhouse Bacon Time beat Vietnamese Saigon Phantoms in the final of Arena of Valor Premier League 2022 with a dominating score of 4-1 to take the title of the champion. The tournament was held in an offline location in White Palace Event Center, Thủ Đức City. Arena of Valor GCS Summer winner Bikertopia Esports came in third place. Bacon Time will be taking USD $400,000 home as the champions of Garena.
Arena of Valor Premier League 2022: Bacon Time’s road to victory
The tournament featured the top twelve teams from Thailand and Vietnam which includes three teams each from AOG Winter, GCS Summer, RPL Winter, and ASL Winter. The twelve teams faced each other in the group stage, among them, the top two teams from each group proceeded to the playoffs.
Bacon Time had the most amazing run in this tournament as they did not lose a single match throughout the tournament. In the group stage, Bacon Time maintained a 4-0 winning streak against Flash Wolves and DG Esports. The champions faced giant teams like Flash Wolves, V Gaming, and Bikertopia Esports in the Upper Bracket Quarter Final, Semi Final, and Final.
They won all three matches flawlessly without losing any map in all of the Bo5 and Bo7 series. Bacon Time faced Saigon Phantom from Vietnam in the Grand Finals. Saigon Phantom on the other hand was sent to the Lower Bracket by Bikertopia Esports in the Quarter Finals. But they were successful in making a comeback by defeating MAD Team, V Gaming, Buriram United, and Bikertopia Esports.

Bacon Time will be taking USD $400,000 home as the champions of the tournament. Whereas, Saigon Phantom and Bikertopia Esports will take USD $200,000 and USD $130,000 as the runner-ups of the tournament respectively.
