Brawl Stars World Finals 2020 to be held online due to COVID-19 related issues

On October 3, 2020, the Brawl Stars World Finals 2020 was announced. The 2020 edition of Brawl Stars World Finals features a $500 USD prize pool for the winning team. Fans can support their favorite team through the in-game exclusive offers which can increase the prize pool up to $1000,000. The Brawl Stars World Finals 2020 will take place on November 21 and 22. Initially, the finals were to be held in the new state of the art studio in Katowice, Poland. The safety concerns arose due to COVID-19 forced the authorities to take the Brawl Stars World Finals 2020 online.

The 2020 edition of the world finals is expected to be lit up with the addition of a few new gadgets, a mighty brand new legendary brawler – Amber and some balanced changes among brawlers.

Brawl Stars World Finals 2020 will be an online event

Supercell has announced that the Brawl Stars World Finals 2020 will be held remotely due to the COVID-19 pandemic spread. This means that instead of the finals being played in a single location like last year, it will now be played online, in the comfort of your homes. The tournament will still be operated from Katowice’s studio. But the players will compete online to remain safe at home amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

With the Brawl Stars World Finals 2020 being a tournament with worldwide participation, there are definitely lag and connectivity issues while competing remotely. But Supercell said the priority was the safety of the finalists.
