Honor of Kings announced Campeonato de Honor of Kings Brazil (CHOKBR) 2023, the first championship event for the Brazil region. The organizers recently announced that the championship will start on July 8 and will have a total prize pool of US$ 65,000 (equivalent to more than R$ 300,000).

Campeonato de Honor of Kings Brazil (CHOKBR) 2023: Format
Open Qualifiers
The open qualifiers of the Campeonato de Honor of Kings Brazil (CHOKBR) will start on July 8th and end on July 9th. This stage will be open to everyone, allowing any team to apply. Entries will open on June 28 via the HokClub website. The teams will face each other in single elimination and best-of-one (Bo1). Only the top four teams on each of the two days qualify for the next stage, making a total of eight qualified teams.
Closed Qualifiers
The closed qualifiers of the Campeonato de Honor of Kings Brazil (CHOKBR) will start on July 15th and end on July 16th. The eight teams from the Open Qualifiers face eight invited teams in this competition. Under the Swiss system, teams will compete in five rounds, with three rounds on the first day and two on the second day. Teams with three wins qualify for the next stage, while three losses will result in elimination. Only eight teams will advance to the Main Event.
Group Stage
The Group Stage will begin on August 12th and end on September 24th. After the Qualification Round, the eight best teams from Brazil will face each other in São Paulo in the main event. Each team will go against the other in a round-robin format. The top four teams advance to the final stage.
Knockout Phase
The knockout stage will start on September 30th and continue till October 8th. This stage will be played in a double-elimination format.

The winner of this tournament will take a lion’s share of the prize pool and a direct ticket to the 2023 Honor of Kings International Championship (KIC2023), the main event in the Honor of Kings. The CHOKBR runner-up will have the opportunity to qualify for KIC2023 through the Wild Card.Â
