The eFootball 2026 update is now live, and this one is centered fully around the Mobile 9th Anniversary Celebration. KONAMI has rolled out a month-long campaign featuring free Epic chance deals, a Show Time Selection Contract, new Starter Set packs in regional stores, and even a brand-new Show Time skill.

Alongside the anniversary content, a fresh Epic pack has also arrived featuring defensive legends, while Didier Drogba headlines the free campaign rewards.

eFootball 2026 brings 9th Anniversary Campaign: All you need to know

Mobile 9th Anniversary Celebration campaign begins

The 9th Anniversary campaign officially runs from May 14 until June 4, 2026. Similar to previous major celebrations, Campaign Hub once again becomes the main place where you progress through rewards by playing PvP and AI matches.

This time, advancing 45 spaces in the Campaign Hub rewards you with a Show Time: Worldwide Selection Contract, allowing you to directly pick one of four available Show Time players. Alongside that, you can also collect six Didier Drogba Chance Deals, coins, GP, EXP, Booster Tokens, Skill Tokens, and Position Tokens.

The login campaign also adds another Didier Drogba Chance Deal, 100 Coins, Booster Tokens, Skill Tokens, GP, and EXP over the course of the event.

Campaign Objectives are split across three weeks, with each phase rewarding additional Didier Drogba Chance Deals. Across the entire campaign, you can earn up to 18 free tries for the Drogba Epic box.

KONAMI has also added events such as European Club Champions, Team Effort, and a boosted Special Daily Game where penalty progression moves 50% faster than usual.

Show Time Selection Contract players revealed

The anniversary Show Time Selection Contract includes four players who were decided through the earlier voting campaign. The available choices are Joshua Kimmich, Nico O’Reilly, Matthijs de Ligt, and Ferdi Kadıoğlu.

Each player arrives with a different Show Time skill. Kimmich gets Visionary Pass, Nico O’Reilly receives Long-range Tackle, Matthijs de Ligt comes with Aerial Fort, while Ferdi Kadıoğlu features Edged Crossing. I will drop a guide soon on whom to pick from the lot after reviewing.

New Show Time skill “Shadow Hunt” introduced

A completely new Show Time skill called Shadow Hunt has been added with this update. The skill boosts speed-related abilities whenever a DMF, RB, LB, or CB tracks an opponent, making a run behind them. Again, not too sure how the boost will work, but it is interesting for sure.

Following the same pattern, a new Epic pack titled Shadow Hunt features Fabio Cannavaro, Paolo Maldini, and Daniele De Rossi.

Fabio Cannavaro arrives with Aerial Fort and the new Shadow Hunt skill, while Paolo Maldini gets Long-range Tackle alongside Shadow Hunt. Daniele De Rossi makes his debut as an Epic player during the 9th Anniversary celebration and comes equipped with Phenomenal Pass and Shadow Hunt.

Starter Sets arrive in regional stores

New Starter Set packs have also been added in selected regional stores.

The Turkey Store introduces a Nihat Kahveci Starter Set for 50 eFootball Coins. He arrives as a Goal Poacher with the Agility booster and Phenomenal Finishing.

Meanwhile, the Brazil Store features Gabriel Martinelli as a Starter Set player, also costing 50 Coins. Martinelli comes as a Prolific Winger with the Hard Worker booster and Acceleration Burst.
