The latest edition of PUBG Mobile Pro Series or the PMPS Korea 2023 Season 1, which is hosted by Tencent has concluded recently with Duksan Esports who are crowned as the new champions, to represent the country of South Korea. PMPS Korea 2023 Season 1: Overview
The final of the PMPS Korea 2023 Season 1 was a three-day affair that concluded after a fierce race to claim the title between the two most consistent teams in the particular stage of the tournament, those being Duksan Esports and Zz. The tournament favorites Dplus, consisting of the most star-studded PUBG Mobile lineup of the Korean region also came close to the title, but ultimately fell short of their rivals.
The fall of Dplus was unexpected, given the fact that they came into the final after being the best team out of the lot in the earlier rounds. But, it only goes on to testify to the level of competition in the said tournament, where even the mighty can take blows and make way for an unexpected champion. The top eight teams from the PMPS 2023 Season 1 final will get an entry to the Showdown 2023, an annual PUBG Mobile tournament hosted between Japan and South Korea.
Prize pool
The winners of the tournament Duksan Esports bagged a total prize money of $30,091, while runners-up and third-placed Zz and Dplus took home $9027 and $7522 respectively. The MVP of the tournament, Hoxy from the winning side of Duksan Esports, was also awarded $752 for his outstanding performance.

The PMPS Korea 2023 Season 1 is just the first of the three seasons of the PMPS that are touted to be hosted in Korea for the current PUBG Mobile season of 2023.
